Omnisphere is crashing

Greetings friends,

As my GP set grows I’m starting to get some crashes on startup. Its not 100% of the time and I can’t reproduce it consistently. Sometimes it’s a crash and I get a crash report log to send to apple, sometimes it’s a hang and I have to force quit.

If it gets a lot worse I’ll start a forensic approach by removing some 3rd party plugs from the session… but in the mean time I wanted to inquire if there are any options to enable log files to be generated.

Are you on Mac or Windows?

run “Console”
(cmd+spacebar - write console, press enter)

  • Crash Reports - lists them all.
    Just select latest and copy the text (or zip the *.ips file and upload here)

That’s useless….instead, open the report, copy the text to a file, zip it and upload the zip file here

Omnisphere is crashing.
What version of Omnisphere are you using?

Can you upload the gig file, so I could check?
I am using Omnisphere also.

I just realized it was omnisphere causing the crash. I realize Im a version or two behind. Trying that first…
