Please be patient with the new guy. Coming from real guitar pedals. Had trouble with downloading Mac M4 GP, it kept crashing when loading. No firewalls active, after several attempts tried the Mac Intel download and seems to work despite the fact I have an M4 processor. Next problem, I can’t get a guitar signal in GP. Don’t see a way to post screen shots or I would. Mac audio settings are correct for my Focusrite and show an input signal. I can hear dry guitar out of the Focusrite into monitors. GP audio settings are correct for my Focusrite, but no guitar signal in GP, in the tuner. Metronome does work out my monitors. I’m at a loss and havent even started trying to learn midi mapping yet. BTW feel like I have watched every video online about this.
In security settings you have to give GP access to the microphone.
Pianopaul, I just wanna give you a big ole Texas hug. All good, now onto learning how to program my MC8. Thanks again

Need to understand why your Universal download was crashing. Running GP under Rosetta, although known to work, is not officially supported.
Can you please post the crash report as a zip file so we can see what’s going on? I’m wondering if you have the proper Apple silicon drivers for your audio interface, for example
no problem, I would need help on how to do that exactly
