You are using a sustain pedal to act like an expression pedal.

Then maybe it’s plugged into the wrong connector. Looking at a picture of that keyboard, there is a Sustain and an Expression connector.

The Korg FS3 is a switch pedal, so I even don’t know how it can produce a continuous value. I suppose the keyboard controller circuit integrates on/off values somehow when it changes. @dhj is right it is simply not connected to the right connector as the FS3 is probably only compatible with the sustain connector.
