No sound with ASIO driver but with windows

Hello, I am new here. When I activate the Windows audio driver, I have sound. But when I select ASIO and select my Arturia AudioFuse driver, I hear nothing. But Input and Output show a signal. It can’t be the interface, as I can also hear the sound when I activate Windows Audio. Does anyone have any ideas? I can’t find anything on the net so far.

First, there’s this from the Arturia AudioFuse webpage.

Plug & Play & No specific drivers

No fiddly driver installations - we’ve made the decision to use generic drivers and worldwide USB 2 to ensure you’re always ready to record, unlike proprietary drivers that need to be developed and maintained after each operating system update. It’s solid, reliable, and lets AudioFuse perform its best at all times with the bandwidth you need and the unnoticeable latency you expect.

So, they don’t provide an ASIO driver like every other manufacturer does? My first question would be: which ASIO driver are you trying to connect to? Windows doesn’t provide one. Did you install ASIO4All? Lord, I hope not.

I assume that you’re selecting ASIO or Windows Audio in Gig Performer. When you select ASIO in GP, what shows up for “Device”?

What do you see when you select Windows “Sound settings” when right-clicking on the speaker icon in the task bar? Something like this?

You say that Input and Output show a signal, but you hear nothing. Where are you seeing the I/O levels?

The Arturia website says that the AudioFuse will be available soon. How did you get one?

I assume that you have left and right channel monitors (Mains (outputs 1 & 2)) connected to the interface. Are those the ones that you hear audio from when you select Windows Audio?

I remain confused about how GP can show ASIO availability without Arturia providing an ASIO driver.
