Most of my VSTs lost their Presets when loaded in GP. I re-scanned - no luck… the preset menu is still empty.

The preset list inbuilt in the plugin is empty?
Or are you talking about the preset list in GP?
I mean the presets within the plugins
Which plugins exactly?
Can you find them in your computer and select them within the plugin?
VST3? Some vendors supply the presets separately. Then you can import these (not with the gp-preset import, but one of the other options at the top of the context menu of the plugin. I don’t remember the exact name on the top of my head.
To me a known problem. Usually I look up the presets using the vst2 version. Then export the nice preset as a gp-preset, but I agree that it’s workaround at best.
