No mute for mapping on Gain Control?

Was surprised today when I went to map a mute button widget to a Gain Control(mono) and found there is no Mute parameter in the Mapping. Is this an oversight? It’s there in the Mapping for Gain and Balance, and the Gain and Balance (m-.s), but not for Gain Control(mono).

You are right, not available.
But balance is available - which makes no sense for a mono gain.
