I am a performing musician. I have several combination of musicians I perform with. I act as the music director and main vocalist and guitarist in all groups. I use backing tracks through Cakewalk. I have been performing this way for 20 years. I write my own arrangements. I have been reviewing the GigPerformer features and this checks all the boxes I have wanted for years. One issue I have is I run a dynamic lyrics chart to the side men on a separate video display. Cakewalk has the ability to run lyrics and chords. The chart will move the curser by 1/4 notes thru the lyric charts son you can see exactly where the track sequence is at any time. More if not all the performance application I have investigated only show a static PDF or word file for the lyrics. This is difficult for the players to follow are requires them to keep eyes on the lyric/chord charts 100% of the time. This is not a great way to perform. Does GP have this feature?
This is make or break issue for me. I am wanting to more from windows to mac book and more to Logic Pro. Unfortunately lyrics is an issue with logic also. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.
