New EP VI (Glassy) by Sampleson

Sampleson has released a new spectral modelled EP. Glassy provides 20 electric pianos (and a pad generator!) in a 35 MB VI. It’s currently $19, but will increase to the astronomical price of $29 at some point.

The demos sound good, so I’m going to pick it up. I’m interested in how it will stack up against Lounge Lizard.

I just bought it, sounds very good.
You cannot compare with lounge lizard as this emulates a total different thing.

Found that out! :sunglasses:

So what’s it good for

It sounds very similar to MKS-20 and Chrystal Rhodes sound from Roland.
It also can sound like a DX7 Piano.

It sounds very similar to Keyscape MKS-20 but all without samples
And it has a 2nd layer sound where you can define the volume, cutoff and resonance to thicken the sound.

Ah, so for getting that FM sound that Chicago made really popular ?

Yes, I think exactly that sound.
