I have a couple Nektars I am using with Gig Performer currently.
I use it and it’s great! All the MIDI controls are recognized by GigPerformer and work as you’d expect.
Although recently I have retired my P1. I was using it for knobs/buttons/sliders when using just one controller keyboard (the one I’m using basically doesn’t have many useful ones) - I would set it up on a shelf that I’d place on my keyboard stand’s upper tier - until I realized that for no extra complexity added to my rig, I could instead use a Panorama T6 61-key controller (got a good deal on a used one locally), still get the controls plus an extra keyboard! And it’s powered over USB just like the P1, so no extra AC cord. The P1 might still come in handy for flyaway gigs where I’m only offered one keyboard by the backline.

Is the power supplied via USB enough to drive the motorized slider on the P6? I bought a P6 over 10 years ago, and used a wall wart to power it, so I don’t know from experience.
