i´m in need for that inbetween of a Metronom vs. a Drummachine,
something like the Boss DR 660 Drummachine and similar.
Somethjing that has some basic rytms on board. Such thing like the DR 660 would be perfect. (Personally i´m on a Mac. ( M1/Bigsur) )
Is there anything ?
i just had some surches…can´t find any.
optional comments:
i helped me right now, using my (quite new) Microtonic.
so i have a workaround if i can´t find anything better suited.
Not shure if i should consider one of these nifty Drum thing-thangs…?..maybe…
Natural drum sounds would be good. But has to be easy to deal with rytms, and easy on the CPU would be nice.
point is: the rytms !
…i´m flexible vs. the sound. ( a la Dr 660 would be fine)
i need to find -for some recordings i want to do ( ambienty piano playing with delays etc.)- the tempo i have to play within.
Need to rehearse to play to a strict tempo, so a recording will work in a grid
ohoh, guess thats a keyword vs. my whole “idea/wish”.
i hoped dor a drummy that has the grooves/rytms onboard,
so i also could switch just by using a widget.
…the picture becomes now clearer, as we speak.
i was just studying the addictivDrums from XLN.
Seems all this tools would work, based on using midi files that HAVE to be loaded to a DAW, …or sayed midi-file player, …is that correct ?
thats what i exactly would like to avoid ! at least for “something for the quick”.
That’s the one I was going to mention as well.
Nice free plugin if you don’t want to step up to something like EZdrummer 3. Both have patterns you can use.
how does it work, you do NOT need to have any DAW running in parralel ?
you can run the rytms from within EZD (just within GP), and also switch rytms from within EZD ?
wait, it says on their page:
Onboard grid editor, step sequencer and more
so i guess it does. Need to check…( do they have sales once in a while ? )
