By the way: Host Automation is working always, MIDI your are never sure!
And the BIG advantage of Host Automation:
Each change in a parameter mapped to a widget shows the changed values in the widget
You are always synchronized.

No, there does look like a bug with VST3 even with using the host automation parameter. I am frequently getting the switch not registered in Helix Native. I checked in Live and Reaper and I don’t have the problem there.

Does the Windows version of Native also come with the VST2 version of the plugin? If so, have you tried that?

Here’s a vid of the issue. Listen for the hiss of the overdrive to know when it’s turned on.
If you run the installer again (or re-download) there is an option to install the VST2 version (unticked by default). Definitely worth trying.

Yeah, it’s the same thing I’m getting with the VST3 on Mac.
I installed the Native VST2 and it seems to be working!
