I’m going to try this tonight at practice finally! Still fighting getting a decent guitar synth to compare with the el cheapo Mooer E7, but sort of ok with Jam Origin MIDI guitar, sort of….kind of
Where I’m really smashing my head against the wall is security. I tried making a separate account on the mac for auto login, but that brings me past my total activations on a few copy protections, and syncing with the gig files and such in google drive is dicey.
I tried using a touchscreen monitor and using the acessibility keyboard to login, but the keyboard randomly disappears on the login screen, and there seems to be no way of brining it back without restarting, and it still may disappear
I tried using various unlock apps using the iPhone, but none of them really worked. I know the apple watch could work, sort of, but I don’t want people to need to buy a watch, and I especially don’t want them to need to always get on with a keyboard and mouse.
I am thinking now I’ll just login the main account but I’m very worried about security in that case. How do I 100000 trillion percent make sure Safari and Chrome don’t autofill passwords and that sort of thing. I signed out of both, but there were still some auto fills going on for passwords.
I tried Nearlock which is supposed to lock the mac when your phone gets out of range, but it doesn’t seem to ever lock.
Any suggestions?
Go to their settings and disable AutoFill!
gave this a try tonight at practice with my band. I seriously don’t want to go back to my Helix. A bit tricky picking songs on the touchscreen but looking at Vindes’ script I think I may be able to fix that. Best part was ZERO gap and ZERO spikes between clean and distortion sounds and epic spillover of lead delays ringing after the switch to clean sounds! A lot of things didn’t seem saved the way I thought and strange discrepancies but probably all pilot error. I emailed myself a list of things to fix and hopefully will have it done tomorrow.
