MXR Bass Synth alternative

This pedal is pretty official. I am wondering if there is a plugin that can convert my sound to synth bass other than Jam Origin MidiGuitar/Bass. Maybe a Reaktor ensemble. Any ideas?

It’s the conversion of audio to MIDI that is the hard part, and that’s where you’ll be hard-pressed to find better than the Jam Origin product. Once the audio is converted you can run it through any MIDI instrument you want.. There’s no shortage of synth bass plugins.

I don’t think the MXR pedal converts to midi. I think it processes the audio. Kinda like an octave pedal does.

I see, you’re looking for a synth bass effect plugin not an instrument.

Check out the Rabea plug-in from Neural, the mono synth is very good.
