Multiple MIDI inputs?

Hey, Is it possible to build a rackspace with multiple MIDI inputs to one instrument ?
When I create the two MIDI inputs side by side there is no way to connect them to the SWAM instrument…
I use SWAM instruments and a 4 input Audiofront MIDIExpression device sorting out - an expression pedal and a triple Roland piano pedal along with a USB TEC breath controller.
Can this be done in GP ?

As @edm11 noted, connecting multiple MIDI inputs to a single synth is quite common. Particularly useful if you

  • Want to play the same instrument from different keyboards or even from different areas of a single keyboard
  • Want to control a piano synth (say) from one keyboard but your sustain pedal is connected to a different keyboard

Or sustain pedal via a midi foot controller board.
