So, I’ve read the manual about making a setlist out of available rackspaces. First making a song with the rackspaces you need, then up to the next song. But I have made a gig file for each song. So I have, let’s say, 20 gig-files with their rackspaces. Now I want to make a setlist of all those songs. But not sure which steps I have to take first.
Load the gig file and export the song.
Do that for each gig file.
Now you can import the songs in your working gig file
Thanks for your reply @pianopaul
And will my working gig file be, the last gig file I exported as a song?
Will that gigfile stay as a stand-alone gig file I originally made for the song?
OK, did you ever use Set List Mode and use Songs in term of gig Performer?
In the use manual it is documented very well.
You cannot export a gig file as a song, a gig file holds rackspaces/variations, songs and song parts.
In Set List Mode you can define Songs and Song Part.
Song Parts reference rackspace variations.
You can export a song with all references to rackspace variations.
You can also export a rackspace.
So you have to choice what you want export.
No, this will be my first setlist Im building. But what you say is a clear explanation and addition to the manual. It all make sense now.
Exporting my songs as we “speak”.
Thank you @pianopaul !!
Gig files are self contained. When you export individual songs to your drive, you can then import the ones you want into a new gig file or add them to an existing gig file.
