It’s the first time in years that I find something is missing from GP standard features.
I just bought Viscount Legend One LM 73, which is a second lower manual to transform Legend One in a two manual organ. Gorgeous. For us it’s a nice machine because keys are very good (IMHO), semi weighted but good as a balanced compromise to play organs, pianos and synths. Two 73 keybeds, all of the hardware things midi mapped, including drawbars; embedded audio board with good performance. I was already using the one keybed device with satisfaction.
With the second keyboard I immediately prepared a concert where I had already everything mapped previously with two midi device alias (called high and low).
Surprise: being the two manual device only one piece from GP point of view, I couldn’t prepare two aliases. RigManager wants two distinct hardware things to prepare two aliases.
There are other ways of course, but this means changing my existing gigs that work so well with two hardware blocks.
Any hint from the masters here?
