? MIDI pre or post Transpose

When Transposing a MIDI NOTE does it matter if its Pre or Post midi OMNI Block?
In this case it will be used with MIDI Guitar HEX to pitch midi Piano notes up/down.

What are you trying to accomplish such that transposing inside the MIDI In block wouldn’t work?

good question…got 'em figured i’d use 'em. I mean look at that cube just asking to be tuned up..!
Mostly using them as a visual to easily see what the pitch is in wiring view.
I guess the midi OMNI block is already set to Pitch first?

I don’t know what that means - why use them if you don’t need them. The MIDI In block can transpose incoming MIDI messages. There is no concept of “pre” or “post” in that situation.

I suppose the only benefit is that you can see the transpose values. On the other hand, I don’t want to look at wiring when I’m on stage so I would have just mapped the transpose parameter of each MIDI In block to a widget

Yes, the semiTone knobs are great.

will you show how to set the range to only be +/- 12 semi tones?

Just set the min and max value of the widget curve
