MIDI Out from Predator 3 only works to another instance

I tried using the arp function in Predator 3 (VST3) to send MIDI notes to Arturia Clavinet V. The MIDI NOTE ON/OFF events are there, but the Arturia plugin doesn’t make any sound. I can play the Clav with the on-screen keyboard or the MIDI in that is triggering the Predator plug-in, but no notes sound from the MIDI coming from Predator.

A second instance of Predator is triggered by the first and produces sound. I tried a different Arturia plug-in, and the results were the same. There appears to be MIDI going to it, but no sound.

Check midi channels are the same (?)

Yeah, the Clavinet V is set to Ch14. If I bypass the Predator module, then the MIDI passes through and the Clav plays. When Predator is active, a MIDI monitor connected to it’s MIDI output shows note on/off messages on Ch14 as expected.

Changing the MIDI input on the Clav to All doesn’t have any effect.

A little off-topic, but sending the Kontakt Rhodes to the sidechain input on the Predator works fine, while sending the Arturia output to the same place (and signal showing in the connectors) doesn’t register in the input source monitor window. It’s almost like the Arturia module and Predator don’t want to interact with each other
