I need to double a sound (at octave) going to Kontakt. I know one quick easy way would be to add a 2nd instrument into Kontakt and just lower the pitch by an octave, but that seems wasteful. Can you use any of the built-in midi tools to do this? Or is this the time that I figure out how to do it using a script?
I think you could create a second MIDI IN block connected to Kontakt and transpose it -12? Just a guess, honestly.

awesome - thanks! I never even thought about that. I come from programming things on hardware workstations and I find myself having to rethink how to even approach some of these things. GP is awesome and so is this group!
