I am looking at the Midi File Player today. I previously have been using EzPlayer. I have my keyboard rig on one computer, and backing tracks on a remote instance of GP (second computer) via Ableton Link. I use a Midi File player to run both midi for vocal harmonizers as well as running lights and video. But, the Midi File player does not seem to have a link to global playhead capability, so when I press start, the Audio File player starts as I am familiar with, but the Midi File player does nothing. Am I required to do this programmatically?
We’re aware of this missing feature and are actively working on it. We will hopefully have this feature available in an upcoming update. Stay tuned…
