Hi.

Anybody here use NI’s Massive?

I was recently setting up a Program List (PL) in Massive, which is a necessary preliminary to being able to select Massive programs via program change (PC) commands.

I got it all figured out and working, but was not-so-happy that my 128 item Program List had to be created by dragging in items one-by-one. IOW, no multiple-selection is available in Massive to streamline this task.

So, two things:

  1. I’m attaching the PL I built here in case someone else would like a time-saving starting point. This is a lightly-curated PL, mostly made of pad-like sounds with polyphony for use in combining with other synth sounds (but with some exceptions). It is not a deeply-vetted list of favorites, but it does serve my initial purpose of having a PL list in Massive for use in one of my 3-synth layer discovery rackspaces.

  2. If any other Massive users have also made PLs and would be willing to post them here, that would be super!

Thx! I use Massive a decent amount where I need a not so vintage synth sound (my other main option is Pigments).

[But I guess I follow just follow GP “orthodoxy”, if I am using more than one Massive sound in a song, I just use rackspace changes (or have multiple instances and use variations to bypass the unused one).]

Yeah, I have a specific goal of easy serendipitous discovery, which is why I do it this way.
