No matter what I do I have massive latency
if there was nothing on my chain it would have latency no matter what if i close out everyhting in my computer it will have latency
i got this to fix an ableton problem but it is worse than ableton on its own

What are your audio settings in GP?
What is your audio setting in Ableton Live?
What latency is shown in GP for “Smooth Operator Pro”?
What latency is shown in GP for “Clear”?
I am sure the “Clear” plugin also introduces latency.
And keep in mind that plugin delay compensation is not available in a VST Live Host.
And even if it would - it makes no sense.
it is obvious you just want to just talk and not give actual solutions…i have been making music all my life…im sure anyone who uses this program know how to deal with latency
one of the very first things i said was that if i have absolutely nothing on this chain i still get massive latency issues…i do not get this latency in ableton
i only get it out of gig performer when nothing else is open and nothing is on my chain
so now that you have this information again can anyone give me a better solution for this instead of assuming im a retard

these same programs give me significantly less latency in my daw alone…this is not the issue at all
i am not sure why everyone is bringing up some shit that i am not speaking on
How do you measure latency in Gig Performer when you just connect the Audio In to the Audio Out without using any plugin?

Please bear in mind that these people here are using their own free time to try and help you. Not only that, they are very experienced people who have used Gig Performer for many years.
that would be nice if i didn’t get the equivalent of " did you try turning it on and off again"

if you hook this up from interface to interface with nothing in the middle there is latency
i said that in the very beginning…now after all these posts this seems to not be understood
idk what kind of experts these are but this isnt helpful and actually wasting more time
Can you please show the chain you are using when you notice latency and answer the question if you are using the global rackspace?
And maybe there is a misunderstanding:
When you connect your audio in directly with the audio out and in parallel you have a chain of plugins then latency occurs.
This happens because gig performer does not have a channel layout like Ableton live or logic.
Therefore it is important that you show what you are using and how the wiring looks like.
First, we don’t appreciate this language and this attitude in this forum.
