I’m looking for a Gigperformer setup (rackspace or complete .gig file) for Sting’s „Russians“ – ideally with the typical sounds (piano, cello/strings, bass, and matching effects). If anyone has already built something like this and would be kind enough to share it, I’d be very grateful!
I’m also interested in any other Sting songs you’ve recreated in Gigperformer (e.g. from The Dream of the Blue Turtles, Ten Summoners’ Tales, or The Last Ship). I’d be happy to return the favor or help out with other projects in exchange.
If you have any tips on how to set this up (plugin combinations, split zones, effects chains), I’d really appreciate those as well.
Arturia V Collection is very strong in the synth department, but not quite as strong in a acoustic instruments department (even though it includes physically modeled pianos and organs).
I think you might need a decent sampled cello, strings ensemble, maybe a better piano?
