Someone offered me a Kurzweil KM88 controller for $100 but I can’t find much info about it. Was thinking of using it as my main keyboard, for the 88 note keyboard with hammer action but because it only has 1 slider, 6 buttons and a joystick I’d pair it with a Novation Launchkey 61 MK3 for more accessible on-board controls. Does anyone have any experience with the KM88? Also, it appears to have software that provides “Virtual controller” with more switches, sliders, and rotaries but it’s not clear to me if and how the software works when playing or controlling VSTs in real-time and if / how the software’s on-screen controls work the same way other MIDI controller boards function with hardware faders, switches, etc. For example, do I have to run the app while I run GP or a DAW and is there a UI that display to adjust the Virtual controls?

Seems in the editor app you can program which virtual controller is mapped to the physical slider and knobs.
