Motu M4 into MacBook Pro running GP5. Mostly play keys but trying to get guitar to play Overloud THU2 lite version. Not getting signal to plugin. Worked with GP4 and TH-U with M2 interface. On both can always hear clean guitar separately. Was told this topic has been discussed at length but if it has my search turned up nothing. This may not be GP at all but some setting on Mac/M4. Any ideas please?
You may need to give the GP microphone permission in your Mac OS.
I actually had to do that already when I upgraded interface and GP. No signal from keys either. Strange I don’t remember doing that with Motu m2 and GP4 but was told I must have or it wouldn’t have worked. At any rate that’s been done but still no signal to plugin and clean guitar sound still present apart from everything else.
If you can hear the guitar with no signal in GP, then you’ll want to turn your Mix knob on the Motu to Playback.
I think I’ve tried that already but I’ll try again to make sure. But still no signal to plugin.
