Issues with gigperformer 4

Hi there,

I switched from gigp3 to gigp4 and everything went fine. Creating Rackspaces and knobs and finally Songs.
But oops i cannot switch to any Songparts created
by default or by myself ( Intro,Vers, solo…)
No chance. Not by Mouse Not by PCKeys etc.
It stays and remains on Intro for every chosen song

Could this be a General issue or ist there a trick??

To menshion:
In Gigperformer 3 everything works fine!!!

Do you send any midi messages on song part changes (set in the song part properties)?

Have you tried a new blank gig in GP4 to see if it happens with a new file?

Perhaps a MIDI loop? Unable to select song parts in setlist view - #4 by pianopaul

Yes I did both.

First I started with a blank Screen from gigp4
without any Midi Routing and created Several songs
Then I chose Midi commands in the General Midi and in Songview Area…

In addition i made a new Install on 2 different PCs
Same issues…

Why does it work in Version 3??

No Midi Loop present…

It happens by creating only 1 Song top
and in different PCs???

Can you upload an example gig file?

Did you purchase Gig Performer through Deskew?

There should be no reason why you cannot select a song part using the mouse. Something is very wrong. You mentioned there is no midi loop - can you open the Global Midi Monitor (Window menu) and confirm no messages are being sent/received when you try and select a song part.

A short video will also be helpful so we can see what’s happening.
