Is there a way to set audio player to use relative paths to files?

I’ve done a bit of searching and I think the answer is No, but figured I’d ask. It would be very convenient for my specific use case if I could use relative paths to audio files. I have a portable drive that I use for my “main” storage, but I copy/paste things from that drive to several other laptops to create and play live gigs.

Not a huge issue, it would just save me some time with my specific workflow. Figured I’d ask to make sure I’m not missing something. Thanks!

Are you on Mac?
I think on Mac you could use symbolic links and on windows symlinks.

I am on windows, sorry should have included that. I’ll look into symlinks, thanks! I’m not familiar with that.
