Great for interactive performance, otherwise avoid on stage with variable lighting

Reminds me of a controller I have developed years ago.
It was was an infrared midi controller, also able to send midi notes such as a blues scale depending on the distance of the hand in the IR ray (up to 1 m), and independent to the ambient light.
Had much fun with it!
