IK Multimedia Miroslav Philharmonic and GigPerformer

If I set up a rackspace that uses IK Multimedia’s miroslav philharmonic 2, Gigperformer doesn’t seem

to remember the way that Philharmonic was set up when the rackspace is saved and is later recalled like Native Instruments plugins do. Philharmonic loads as a plug in but it’s configuration is blank.

Is there a method you’d suggest to get the same Philharmonic patch to come up?

I really wary of piling in a bunch of Miroslav Philharmonic versions. Read a lot of nightmares. I’ve had Miroslav way back since the very 1st CD version on an Akai sampler. That works great. It was about $1000. I just wish the program would recall the sounds.

There have been issues with other IK products not storing their settings properly to be recalled by GP. Sample Tank 4 and Pianoverse have been reported on this forum with similar issues, so I wouldn’t be surprised if your product suffers the same way.

GIG file does not set parameters in Pianoverse-VST3

Operating system Windows 10 Pro Gig-Performer 5.0.9/4.8.2 This issue is easily reproducible with the IK Multimedia Pianoverse VST3 (V1.0.4/V1.0.5/V1.0.6) plugin and also with the Toontrack EZKeys 2 (V2.0.5) Fazioli Piano, but not with all presets of the Fazioli. With the Fazioli, the issue shows up with the preset ‘RAW-Sounds->Close Room 1’, for example. With Cantabile 4.x everything works as it should. The following screenshots visualise the issue. Sampletank 4

I’m noticing that when I load Sampletank instances in rackspaces (ST4) that sometimes the tuning macro does not load which throws the pitch off of the multi instrument. This is obviously unworkable. Anyone have this issue (I notice it moreso with predictive loading) and if so any suggestions? And is it better to save the multi as a sample tank preset or as a GP preset? I’m beginning to think that ST may not be a good live solution so hoping I’m missing something MM

I have used miroslav in the past without issues. Used windows, VST3.

I’m Really tempted to install the Miroslav VSTs. Sure would hate to get myself into a trap again where I have to start from the beginning with a new mac, Arrrgh.

I meanwhile have better orchestral bundles (but more pricier).
Miroslav is not so well compared to modern sound libraries, and legato sucks.
However, for starting it’s for the price a good deal.
