I am using Digital Performer as my front end so I’m always ready to record all of my synths and some audio inputs for immediate editing when writing songs and jamming.
All of my synths go through the IAC bus and work perfectly and playback any midi I record during a writing session.
I recorded some midi to playback and analyze my improv and found out the fader moves that I recorded in DP on the iCon track does not play back the fader moves that are attached to the mixer in GP. The faders control the GP mixer in live mode but do not in playback.
Then I noticed that even if I don’t have a iCon track in DP and I don’t have an iCon midi input in GP the faders still move in live mode.
How can I get the iCon to read midi through the IAC bus so I can play back from DP and have the GP mixer follow DP’s midi?
