Hybrid amp sim -- keys -- live sound rig

Austin Greeley is excited to use this setup. Hybrid amp sim/keys/live sound rig.
26 ins, all iPad and MIDI controlled for under 2k!

Austin uses Apple Pencil with the Sidecar feature. He may try to work with TouchOSC in the future. To control the mixer, he goes to the dedicated Zoom L20 control app and switches over to the screen share app to get a drum and vocal mix pre show.

To run processing on drums, the signals go into the mixer interface/audio in on Gig Performer/Mixer Block/gates/eq/compression/bus comp/parallel comp/final eq/final mixer level.

The mixed signal then comes summed to a stereo USB return channel. From there Austin can control the overall drum mix level. As far as monitor mixes, each member could have the “raw” drums individually or the drum bus.

The case: Pedaltrain case that Austin bought along with his pedalboard in a bundle.

New addition to Austin’s Gig Performer pedalboard rig: mounted webcam, perfect for capturing an acoustic performance on the go along with a room mic.

I use it as my live guitar and keys rig as well as my main recording setup. Everything is mounted on a Pedaltrain Classic 2.

I run Mac Mini M4, external USB hub and power supply underneath the board. The Pedaltrain didn’t have enough clearance underneath so I added some wingnuts in between the screws on the back rubber feet to raise it half and inch.

The Mac and USB hub have the ports facing the front of the board for easily getting to the connections, although I wish there was a better way to do this. I run a touchscreen monitor live and use a wireless HDMI to main monitor at home. Had a MIDI Captain that worked great, but it shorted out so I have to get another one.

Everything still fits in the original hard case which is great.
