Hugo Azevedo - Bearpit - metalcore

Bearpit is a metalcore band from Bristol.

BEΛRPIT burst onto the scene with their 2017 debut EP Blacklist, sharing stages with metal heavyweights like Blessthefall and Heart Of A Coward, as well as rising acts like Liquid State and Drip Fed Empire.

Their 2019 single From The Ashes marked a shift toward online community-building, with the band embracing Twitch and social media during a time when live shows weren’t possible.

Known for their nostalgic metalcore riffs, high-energy shows, and signature TRIPLE BLEGH sound, BEΛRPIT have been described as “Bristol’s Parkway Drive” by Kerrang! and Serena Cherry (Svalbard).

Following the success of their 2022 single “(R)EVOLVE”, they’ve been working hard on new material in 2024—ready to hit 2025 even harder, louder, and heavier.

The band members are:

  • Lead Vocals: “Ripper” Llorens
  • Guitar: Rob “Riff” Tyree
  • Guitar/Backing Vocals: Hugo Azevedo
  • Bass: Pete Nyeste
  • Drums: Alex Tilley
