I saw this on another post, but I tried the same configuraiton and the Play button on the top right of GP does not trigger the playback on the sequencer.
Im new to GP, and to MIDI in general.
Thanks for the help
Just to clarify, I dont have “Mini V3”, I have Modo Drums, and I want to trigger the drum kit with the sequencer.
Just downloaded the Full Demo, is working.
When you open the GUI of the sequencer, can you see that it starts playing when you press global play in Gig Performer?
Not for me , could you send me a screenshot of your wiring ? I loaded a preset in the sequencer and, wired the audio out to modo drum, and the MIDI input to MIDI Omni , when I press “play” I don’t see the activity on the wire between MIDI OMNI and the sequencer . I know I’m doing something wrong .
This is my screenshot, I tried similar to yours.
I hear the click of the metronome (after I turn on Play on the top right), but I dont see anything on the MIDI monitor.
Are you using the full version of the sequencer?
Trial, I wanted to see if it is worth it to buy it
Sorry, “Demo” thats how they call it
You appear to be using a different version (maybe different format?) of the plugin. The plugin blocks in the screenshots look different between @pianopaul and @DottyDot .
I could use any other, if you give me a link, i could get it
I think @pianopaul is using a different one, but is from the same software company, I think they all work the same
Are you using VST, VST3, or AU?
AU, Im on Mac
Oh wow, I just changed it to VST3, ops, it works. Why?
That’s what I thought.
Often times there are issues with one format of a plugin but not another format.
VST3 is more thoroughly tested since it is cross platform compatible with Windows. Sometimes that matters, other times not. In this case, it matters. I’m glad its working now.
