How to Sync a synth and the Streaming Audio file to the Global PLAY button?
Goal: Press PLAY triggers Unify2 (synth) which is actually a cool drum pattern. I would also like to Sync the Streaming Audio File Player to start at a particular Marker. Currently the SAFP starts at the beginning and not at the Marker.
I think you’ll have to turn off the Sync With Host button.
Then you can use the Go To Marker parameter mapped to a widget, which you can set to the marker you want to start from, and then press Play in the SAFP.
Thanks for the idea…Got that setup but not sure how to Sync both the Marker and the Global PLAY.
“Go To Marker mapped to a widget” jumps the play head but so far not sure how to press one Button and have both in sync.Also how to tell the “Go to Marker” which Marker to use?
For what you want to do I think you are better off setting loop points (with the start point being where your marker is) and turning on the Play Loop button. That way when you press Global Play the file will start at the beginning of the loop.
