How to remove the plugin from a widget through script?

Hi,

I haven’t found any function for this? How can I remove the assignment from a plugin? There is a MapWidgetToPlugin, but I don’t see any documentation on how you can use this to remove a plugin from a widget.

Depending on the setting of another button on my controller, I want certain encoders to have no parameter mapped to them.

Wouldn’t it be easier to create a new rackspace where the encoders weren’t mapped to anything, and simply switch to that rackspace instead?

Work around…,just map to a plugin that’s not connected to anything, bypassed even.
