I am having trouble implementing Mikhail’s X-Touch scripts. Forgive me, but I am not very experienced in scripting, or how to do some of the stuff described in the installation instructions. Could someone show me step by step how to do the things listed? I just says something like “add the panel to the global rckspace”. I don’t know how to do that. Maybe a video or something.
Also, I do not want to use the gig file with those widgets. I would like to use my own gig file for my gig, but add the X-Touch Mini usability to it. I’ve owned the XTM for years, and it’s been collecting dust for a long time. I have loaded the files into the XTM, so I know it’s sending out the right messages. I’m just very uneducated in code, or how to make this work. Please help. I would love to get this device working. I don’t really have any widgets in any of my rackspsces in at the gig file I use on stage, but it would be nice to use the XTM for the few that I do have.
Thank you,

What script do you want to use?
Whatever will incorporate the X-Touch Mini into my setup. I don’t even know where to begin. I have used OSC in Max before, and I know all about how to map widgets to plugins, but that’s about it. I can send my gig file if that helps
Correction to my original post. I do have some widgets in my gig file in a few of the backspaces, but only a few. I’d like to map the XTM to them, and have the LEDs update on changes.
I have used a MIDI Fighter Twister with GP before, with a script that does similar stuff (updating LED’s, etc…) but I believe I have lost the gig file. It was in a different computer. Someone helped me get that working back then, but I never really used it. I hope to use the XTM this time around. Any help would be appreciated.
It is best if you put your X-touch MINI in layer mode instead of Mackie MCU mode. Then MIDI learn should work well.
I have ditched the X-Touch Mini, and will concentrate on using the Midi Fighter Twister, since I have a working rackspace script. All I have to do is add the script to whatever rackspace I need it in.
Thanks for the insights!
