I saw Vindes’ MC8 file and maybe it will handle what I am hoping to do, but not sure.
On the Helix, you have an option where if you hit a bank up or down switch, it will populate each of the 8 main switches into two rows of four presets each, pressing the bank up or down switch again will move to the next or previous bank, and pressing any of the 8 pedals showing the presets will load that preset and return to a mode which would be switching Variations or Song Parts. I found a setlist scroll control, which I suppose could be controlled by an expression pedal, but not a separate set of scroll up/down actions.
I wonder if a rack panel could be made to load up the song/rackspace names in text fields, or if there is some good idea people have for doing this sort of thing.
