I’ve been running the Hammond b3x plug-in by ik multimedia for over a year now and just recently noticed that all of the factory presets are gone. I’m running Windows 11. I think this was brought up in a prior thread but I don’t know the exact steps that the user took to fix the problem . I know it might not be a gig performer problem per se, but I’d still like to know if somebody has a solution . Thank you so much!
Certainly not anything to do with GP - maybe reinstall it?
Windows 11 seems to come with lots of problems!
Before you reinstall anything, try Revert Rackspace to Last Saved Version.
I doubt that would help if the presets are missing.
In the other thread it said that the presets were there, but it was a matter of Windows file permissions allowing access. I tried the command to restore factory defaults in the B3x app but nothing changes. It seems like I came multimedia has shut down there support forum.
Are they gone off your PC or just not in the app?

Actually since you asked Dave , I checked and they seem to be gone out of the presets folder where some of my custom presets live. So perhaps the only solution is to reinstall.

Ive had issues on Mac with the presets. For some reason you can’t change where they get installed, and with Mac its to a iCloud folder. I now have those locked in so they dont get off loaded as part of any clean up routine. The. sit time it happened I couldn’t figure out what was going no and GP was so unstable. At that time I had no internet so the plugin couldn’t re-download the presets. Im not so worried about the stock ones, but I had custom ones in there. Ive also made a copy of that folder and put it locally.

Do you have “ Desktop & Documents Folders” sync enabled?
Yes I do, and I need them to sync to both MacBooks that I have. I have a few folders where ive set them to keep dowloaded files, and this has been working perfectly since I started this practice. All my Gig performer files are set to do this automatically as well so no issues with missing files etc.
I did ask on various websites, as well as asking IKM themselves if I can change the default save location, but got no where.
