Group a slider and a knob (forgotten how)

Sorry for this (probably simple answer) question, but how do I group two widgets?

Any chance of a simple step 1, step 2 etc, process for a long time user turning 80 in a few weeks and whose brain is gradually slowing down? Please?

My main problem is that when I copy the slider and knob into another rackspace, the assignments don’t transfer. So, I’ve created a widget link called “A” and included both the slider and the knob to the A group. Then I learned the slider only to the bass control slider in a mixer plugin. This seems to work, but can I copy and paste into another RS and expect it all to work as in the original?

I’m a little confused. Is your issue with linking widgets or is it with copying widgets to another rackspace? For the latter, assignment (I assume you mean parameter mappings) will not be copied to another rackspace

Yes it is. But seeing as how I have 450 rack spaces where bass volume needs to be controlled, I was hoping that the link connections would remain. I guess they will have to be reconstructed..

You should feed everything to global rackspace and just control volume there

I did think about that, but I also have other sliders for auto strumming and lead volume in addition to the bass slider.. Could I include them as well?
