Groove Agent 5 VST - AU Doesn't save transport settings

Hi,
I have a rackspace for Fever where I have 2 instances of Groove Agent doing a swing beat and a finger snap. I am used to this application and like that I can just hit a pad on my controller and a new pattern will jump in without loosing the beat.
Problem is, when I open the Gig file and go to this rackspace, the transport settings are not what I want. I need it to have Follow Transport and Jam Mode both enabled and it doesn’t save this. If I want to assign these 2 functions to a widget, the Learn button in GP cannot even recognize them
Does anyone have a suggestion or solution?

Which version of Gig Performer are you using?
When I save a gig file with Follow Transport and Jam Mode both enabled and then I reload the gig file, both options are still enabled.

Hmm, that’s the same version I tested it on.
I’m on Windows, and used the VST3 plugin.

I’m on Mac OS and use the AU. Could be different…

Yes, it is probably AU related. Can you try with a VST?

I just did and it works!! I always use only AU so I don’t mix formats but in this Gig file I only have this instance of Groove Agent so I can do it.

Thanks, problem solved! Use VST3 for Groove Agent.

There is nothing wrong with using different formats for different unrelated plugins. I have personally found VSTs to be more reliable.

What you should not do is mix formats of related plugins. That means don’t use the VST and the VST3 version of the same plugin or use an older and newer version of the same format.
