I tried to control the loop button from the streaming audio player of X Touch Mini. Unfortunately, the LED on the X Touch Mini does not light up properly:
If the button is programmed to “Toggle”, I have to press 2x on the X Touch to toggle the loop button on the streaming audio player and the LED changes incorrectly
If the button is programmed to “Momentary”, it only lights up briefly
I do own the x touch mini and I will have a look at it… most probably it all depends on the configuration of the controller hardware itself. If you are on Windows, I maybe can send you my config file for the x touch mini.
Have you used the appending *.bin file to re-configure your X-Touch mini according to the needs for a proper bidirectional MIDI functionality? XTouch_latching_buttons.bin (650 Bytes)
If you shouldn’t get it to work, maybe something else goes wrong?
Please upload a rackspace or a gig file (reduced to the minimium requirements to show the issue).
Thanks.
If you want the X-Touch Mini button to act as a toggle, you must have it configured as toggle, not as momentary. The other key requirement is that the X-Touch must be sending CC messages, not Note messages.
I have tried to transfer the system to Korg Nano Kontrol2, but unfortunately there are the same problems as with X Touch at the beginning. Is there such a configuration file for Korg Nano Kontrol2?
