Oddly enough, I cannot seem to locate the file. Even using Terminal. Also, it looks like my files are arranged differently as well.
I may be having some filing issues with my computer, although it hasn’t been an issue yet.
I would still like to try the 3.8.x version, If I can still get a key though.

No, that file has to be at that location — otherwise GP wouldn’t be able to pick it up
What exactly did you type into Terminal?
I went into Terminal wrong. When I went into each folder one step at a time, I was able to locate “Gig performer.settings” as expected.
After deleting “Gig Performer.settings” GP4 has now fully booted up 
Hmm, any chance you can recover that deleted file and send it to us?
My suspicion is that the preferences in that setting file for audio interface were wrong or broken. I’d like to see what happened there
I removed via Terminal, I dont think I can get it back. On the other hand, GP4 is working wonderfully, and I am having fun on the guitar again!
