GP Relayer with GP

My main GP instance is on a Mac Mini, and I’m looking to use an older MacBook as the remote display and for some VST synths to spread the load.

Output from the MBP is to an audio interface and then mixer right now.

If I’m running GP on both would relayer be of benefit? Would this essentially act more like how Vienna Ensemble Pro functions that I’d use processing power on the MacBook but audio gets routed back to the Mini?

GP Relayers communicate within the same computer, there is no network communication involved.

AudioGridder is another option and it’s free……disclaimer, I have not personally tried it
