GP doesnt remember korg triton extreme vst patch selection

It sounds like Your Kronos(s) are sending patch change info to the global channel you have your Korg vsts set to. Can you upload a gig file? I use the triton, triton extreme, wave station etc… in a ton of rack spaces and I have a Korg nautilus as a controller and have not had that behavior. W/gig file I might be able to help.

On another note, if you are hoping to “replace” your Kronos(s) sounds with the Korg collection, it will work in many cases…. But not all. Especially if you are using combi sets from someone like Narfsounds that nail covers.

Mikelupo is right on all points, I could have written exactly the same answer.

This summer I had to switch from my Korg Kronos to “Vst-only” with controller keyboard because the Korg TouchScreen has a strange bug. I’m still missing some Korg Combinations that I haven’t been able to replace equally.

Your error has never occurred for me either, but I have always called up Rackspaces in GigPerformer with (Korg Kronos) setlist mode.

I finally have GP working with my KRONOS as expected. The VST sounds no longer change randomly.
Ironically, I changed the settings in GP to match the recommended Bandhelper settings and that fixed the issue I was having.

I’m very happy, and have spent the day recreating all of my Kronos patches on GP.

thank you for all your help

Thanks Mike,
For the time being, until I figure out how to use Bandhelper to change the rackspaces in GP, I will be using my Kronos in setlist mode as well.

This doesn’t make sense to me. What settings did you actually change? Was BandHelper sending program changes that were being passed through GP into your plugins and consequently changing the presets?

Had to have been. In retrospect, you can click on the global midi monitor in GP to see who is sending what to your rackspace.
