here’s a question - is there a way to go into existing blocks that have been programmed by someone else - and automatically shut off the controls except the basics (like you suggest)
Other idea
Create a MIDI Filter with just Notes and some basic controllers enabled (PB, Mod, AT, Sustain…)
Save it as a Favorite and add it to your existing raspaces between M1 and MIDI in by holding SHIFT and dragging it over the wire…

Would be great if we could do that as a universal in for a rackspace that has multiple MIDI in blocks
I suppose dropping in this filter into each MIDI in block is faster than opening each one and checking off the controller boxes
