Global rackspace Audio signal

Hello
I’m new to GigPerformer. I tried several things and …failed a lot !
So I downloaded several different gigs to understand.
And I’m lost with Global Rackspace !
I downloaded @npudar ones (because I got a lot Neural DSP plugins) to see.
But they are built with global rackspaces and I didn’t understand the Audio way.
I mean there is no sound at all. I see my Audio device (Axe I/O) but I can’t rely it with the "global rackspace (neither the In or the Out)
And I can’t find the solution with the User’s Guide !
Does someone could help me to understand how it works please ?
Thank you

No rocket science…

  1. You need to insert a “To Global Rackspace” block in the wiring view (if not already present in the files you downloaded). See also the docs:
    To Global Rackspace
This block behaves like a local “audio out” block, but instead of sending the audio to your sound card, it sends it to the global rackspace. Therefore…
  2. You’ll need to insert a “From Rackspaces” in the wiring view of the Global rackspace!
    From Rackspaces
which will receive the audio from any local rackspace which uses a “To Global Rackspace” block.
So the audio from the local will come into the global rackspace through this block (like a regular “audio in” block). From there you can continue in the global rackspace any way you want… directly connect it to the “real” Audio Out block of your sound card, use a mixer to combine it with other plugins which are located in the global rackspace (i.e. omnipresent drums, backing tracks, midi tracks which should be independent from a local rackspace), use another gain block behind that… use additional effects chains…

To have the panels of the local rackspce AND the global rackspace visible at the same time, click on the word “Global Rackspace” in the panel view (that’s IMHO the easiest way).

You should probably experiment with some simple rackspaces first, to learn the basic concepts underlying Gig Performer before you try to use a significantly more complex gigfile.

I’m only managing them.
→ Just look at the ‘credits’. Most of these great guitar panels were created by @schamass and @chris_g

(keep 'em coming! )
