GigPerformer with Rig Kontrol 3

I’m new to Rig Kontrol. Just trying the demo in fact.

I have Native Instruments Rig Kontrol 3; I cannot figure out for the life of me how to use this foot controller with GP. I have been successful getting the pedal to work as a wah-wah pedal using Guitar Rig’s interface, but I cannot get it to work with any of the buttons. GP doesn’t seem to respond to button presses at all on the device, when I’m using the “Learn” function.

Please help.
