Wait - this is Neural DSP?
We have a very good relationship with them - I don’t know why they would say they don’t support us.

It’s not on their ‘official’ supported list, sadly.
OK - I"ve asked someone to reach out to them
Confirmed!!! That fixed my issue as well! THANK YOU!
Since we’re in the middle of NDSP Black Friday sale, I just want to report that Archetype Rabea also causes long load times and a initial freeze upon Gig Performer start up.
There’s a new update for Gojira (1.0.2), I’m going to try it when I get home.
Have you reported this to them?
Yes, I sent an email to the support team earlier.
About Gojira X: I have updated my install to version 1.0.2 (X). So far, no problems. Plugin is loading normally inside GP.
I’m new to GP and was trying to setup Gojira X version 1.0.2 (X) on win 11. I came across this thread when GP was doing the exact freeze that was this thread. I have not yet filed a support ticket with NDSP.
I tried version 1.0.1 X, no luck. Then I tried version 1.0.0 X and that is working fine. But would like to stay up to date so adding here for others sake and will update when I find a fix. Noticed this seemed solved for others.
You should report to the developer
As I’d intended, I reported the issue to NDSP support and got this reply that Gig Performer is not supported. So no, this issue is not solved, at least not for me. Not sure there’s anything that can be done on this side of the issue. Noticed that in 2024 you had mentioned asking someone to reach out to them. Maybe time again for that, would be nice to be “supported”
The reply:
Thanks for reaching out.
I’m afraid GigPerformer is currently not among the supported DAWs, which means some issues are expected and we’re unable to provide full support until it is officially supported. You can check the complete list of supported DAWs here: https://support.neuraldsp.com/help/daw-compatibility
Regardless of this, we’ll forward your report to our development team and let you know if GigPerformer becomes supported in the near future.
Best regards,
Neural DSP Support Team
Very weird, we gave NFR licenses to four Neural DSP developers. They certainly CAN test.
Seems they COULD but have not. Maybe time to reach out to them again since this is still an issue.
They seem like a good company based on the recent interview and tour online. In any case can this return to an open issue?
I emailed Neural DSP support a few times about this and honestly their response has always been the same underwhelming “Gig Performer is not a supported DAW”.
The VST3 version of Gojira X works fine on my MacBook, but I completely gave up on the Windows version of the plugin. I had issues both inside and outside of Gig Performer. For a while I couldn’t even launch it on my AMD AM5 PC because of an incompatibility between iLok and my ASUS BIOS.
Regarding this specific Gojira X Rackspace, I even tried rebuilding everything from scratch: new mappings, clean install, updated plugin version, but Gojira X consistently stalls and freezes when opening inside Gig Performer on Windows.
Funnily enough, I was actually planning to buy Rabea’s plugin because of the freeze effect and the synth , but the demo behaved exactly like Archetype Gojira X for me, with freezes on startup, very long load times, and overall unstable behavior.
It’s a shame because I really like the tones, and I use Archetype Cory Wong X all the time without problems. But after this whole ordeal I ended up moving to other plugins like Two Notes Genome and Tonex instead.
@Diode reported above that the regular VST version of the plugin worked. It may be optional during install (not sure). Did you try that?
Same issue here I have to load the regular vst. Oddly i have all the archetype plugins minus a couple new ones and goijira is the only one gp hates lol. The rest work fine. Even loading the reg vst it takes longer but does work
