I want to send 6 channels of live my GP VST sounds via USB to my Midas MR18 mixer, but the MR18 does not appear as an option in the GP audio pop up. (I also use 8 channels of analogue audio which works fine).
Midi controllers are connected to my windows 10 laptop, which hosts both GP (USB) & MR18 (Wireless LAN) How can find the MR18 in GP on my laptop?
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks
Is the USB interface in that mixer configured as a multiport audio interface and is there a driver that needs to be installed?
The Wlan (or LAN) connection is only used to control the mixer via the X-Air Edit software. To be used with some channels from GP the Midas/Behringer ASIO driver has to be installed and the MR18 configured as audio interface and connected via USB, as David pointed out.
HI thanks, Lan controls Mixing station, MR18 driver downloaded & installed - now have 8 ch analogue & 8 ch usb I’m happy now
I do something similar with my X32. 16 channels via local or stagebox inputs and up to 16 channels from up to three instances of GP for keys, e-drums and vocal processing. It is quite handy that the inputs of the x32 are independent from its channels. For example, a vocal mic is plugged into stagebox input 01 and routed to channel 01 directly, but also via USB into GP and back into another x32 channel with full processing with plugins. No discernable latency and the vocalist has the freedom to decide wether they want the raw or processed vocal signal in their iem mix.
