The intention of this script is to allow simple chords to be augmented, using Gig Performer’s Chord Maker or an external VST plugin such as RipChord.
This came about when some of the parts I had learnt sounded a bit thin when played with the band, but just layering the same chord up or down didn’t sound right. It needed a bit
more attention, only playing octaves or fifths sounded better, but could no longer be easily achieved with simple layering. Rather than doing a special case script per-song. I decided it may be useful if it was more general purpose.The output is a note/channel combination that uniquely identifies the chord being played.
It would be present for the duration the chord is held. The script is designed to be used as a MIDI scriptlet block and is just added to the wiring view MIDI message flow where required.
